There are different ways to manage the differential growth of crops. At the beginning of the season crops can be drilled using different seed rates which can be addressed using Precise Seed. In the spring crops can be manipulated using variable Nitrogen techniques.
Satellite Imagery
Utilising imagery at an unrivalled resolution of 5m pixels provides a means of assessing variation within the growing crop. Our images are not post-processed in terms of their content, they are not spatially analysed so what you see in the image is a true reflection of the growth of your crop.
Delivery of three images within the growing season gives you the means of establishing how variable any field is and then by combining your knowledge of your farm, your agronomist's technical skills and our expertise in assessing variation, variable application files are constructed compatible with all UK systems.
Zonal Nitrogen
Many growers will already know where they would like to apply variable Nitrogen rates. We can supply you with application files which will do what you want based upon your knowledge, Soil electro-conductivity, existing soil maps, or other data you may have. We are experts at digitising such data and can produce files compatible with all UK application systems. You are then sure that the product applied to your crop is exactly what you intended at the right rate and in the right place.
