Precise Modified Grid Sampling



Modified grid sampling is a combination of two Precision Farming techniques. Firstly the field is surveyed using soil electro-conductivity which measures changes in the soil's physical characteristics, primarily soil texture. The field is then zoned into areas of similar soil textures and a sampling grid of one hectare is placed upon the zones. This grid is then manipulated to provide a number of sampling sites but located by variation of soil type.

We can generate 100% UK GPS compatible variable rate application files for your fertiliser spreader. These can be sent to you directly or downloaded at any time of day or night from our web portal. The data can be used to make informed fertiliser recommendations for use with a variable rate or conventional fertiliser spreader.
