**Job Vacancy** Sampling Technician

About the Role

You will be responsible for collecting soil samples from farms across England using our fleet of Can-Am ATVs equipped with Wintex soil sampling machines, alongside some manual sampling on foot.

The data you collect plays a vital role in helping our customers improve soil health, optimise nutrient use, and maximise crop performance.

At ACS Farm Image, we provide tailored soil sampling and analysis packages that integrate seamlessly with our SoilSmart platform, enabling customers to:

·        View detailed soil analysis results.

·        Create and download variable rate application plans.

·        Access NDVI imagery for nitrogen management.

·        Utilise a range of precision farming tools to support better decision-making.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

·        Is self-motivated and able to work independently.

·        Enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions.

·        Is willing to travel extensively throughout England.

·        Is comfortable with regular overnight stays away from home.

·        Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

·        Has farming, agricultural, or land-based experience (preferred but not essential).

·        Holds a full UK driving licence.
